Do you not feel that may happen anyway!! I have a feeling a few years down the line we may see a few books based on his originals or his worlds.
I hope not but it would be a money maker, even if us die hards would turn our nose's up, people would buy them . . . hell i'd even be tempted to see the outcome (although from a library lol. So as not to line sacreligious pockets.)
