Ah. If it's not part of the series, direct or indirect, then I'm not spoiling anything by telling you that I'm almost positive the little girl is an Other, that Others are created by Ice Dragons at birth and that they return to humanity when the Ice Dragon that made them dies. Good. I'd hate to spoil anything. |
