There was a ST:TNG novel set in a "future" in which she had died. I thought there was going to be some time travel involved that might undo/prevent it, though, but maybe it was indeed permanent and it refers to the same thing that "All Good Things" does. I don't know the full story because the book was too dull to get very far in. (Someone in my family gave it to me, but I they must not have known that the title "Imzadi" meant it would be more a romance novel than a ST:TNG novel.) |
