Ok its been a LONG time since I read this so I may be well off but from memory isnt the last scene in the Mallorean between Geran and the wolf?
I remember thinking at the time that there were hints that the 'purpose' was the wolf. Maybe just piggy backing rather than entirely during the series as it had to remain neutral but once its purpose was fulfilled and everything is back on track it's free of responsibilities and decided it wanted to relax and watch the world as it should be through the eyes of the wolf for awhile? |
