I agree with you totally when it come to the animation. Something about the use of black and white ink that after about forty five minutes of viewing it becomes very aggravating. The animation was stellar but I just couldn't get used to the lack of color. But it was a great movie though. I think when it comes to the animation they just wanted to do something different because when you think about it in relation to the premise of the movie, there really is no reason for it. It doesn't really compliment the theme of the movie or offer any discernable undertone to the plot so I think it was strictly for market purposes. But who knows, some people may like it. The story makes up for the annoying animation. |
