It would be quite thick, but very possible. It all hangs on formatting, really. Just check out the "about the author" notes in the back of the book. The font should be smaller than the usual content of the book.

I think those books average somewhere between 250 and 300 words a page. But larger books often print over 400 words a page. I know Robert Jordan has been guilty of this.
