Thanks for keeping with me on this Nesacat, I appreciate your comments. I have to say that the first chapter is very horrifying but I think that sometimes authors are dishonest with dark subject matter and simply skirt around it. I wanted to present the horror as best as I could. I wanted it planted in the reader's mind so that in the later chapters which will have far milder subject matter, the reader should have considerable more empathy.
