Bergman dies at 89

Can't say I'm heartbroken because he passed away at the end of a long and very fruitful career, making some of the greatest movies that I have seen and he had retired from active film-making a long while ago. He also had 5 marriages and 8 kids, which must have got tiresome after a while.

Woody Allen said it best at Bergman's 70th birthday "probably the greatest film artist, all things considered, since the invention of the motion picture camera".

Amen to that.
