Almost impossible to put down

Deadhouse Gates! My god the desperation, the cruelty, the art of war, Steven Erikson decribes it so well the reader begins to feel the stinging dust of the whirlwind and the pages just fly by!

I loved this line...

"Dear sister, see what you've made?"

And the story of Mappo and Icarium, I feel such sorrow and facination at the same time. It astonishes me that Erikson can have such a vivid imagination, I stand in awe.
