Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows...*DEFINITE SPOILERS*

I liked the book a lot although I really hated that 19 years later stuff. The end was probably the best because Harry asserts himself. Throughout most of the series he's basically said it was luck and that it wasn't him, but in the end he shows that he didn't need anyone.

I kind of figured the whole Snape thing when Dumbledore begged at the end of book six. It was so out of character, even in his weakened state, that I thought it had to be a ploy. And the flaws in Dumbledore's character was very Gandalfish. I was just picturing the scene where Gandalf asks Frodo not to offer him the ring.

The fight offered all the cheap thrills you could wish...the Mrs. Weasley bit and especially Kreacher. The showdown was amazing too.

I didn't mind the beginning that much mostly because I couldn't think of how the horcruxes could be finished. But like I said...the end really grated on my nerves...I guess that's just because I didn't want it to end.
