| Re: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows...*DEFINITE SPOILERS* WOW! first of all i have read it almost 4 times now... i just cant come to terms with the story... dont get me wrong i ABSOLUTELY LOVE HP! i was at the book store @ 5am (sydney, released it at 9:01am)... weren't we promised 785pages (800 odd pages stated in an interview) i just wish that it was longer and possibly THE longest book. not a tiny 607pages.! this is the reason i have read it over and over again i feel as though i missed something. so short!
It has been widley roumered that this is infact NOT the last book, that JK took the 200 odd pages missing and is extending the epilouge. On the morning of the release as i waited for the release i heard on the radio specifically "as fans wait for the first installment of the last book..." is this a mistake or a hint... i hope she does release another book.!!! (although most unlikely)
*SPOILERS BELOW* Firstly the whole thing went too quick ... they were running hiding running hiding etc.. over and over again... i think JK could of drawn that out a bit furthur and did more with the hunt for the horcruxes and hallows. The deaths didnt really surprise me... except for the death of Hedwig and Dobby... poor dobby, my fav little elf... (RIP Dobby you are a FREE elf!) i actually cried when dobby died the death that afftected me the most (and i'm not the type to cry over a book!) When Georges ear was blown of (LMAO) so funny ("...holey... get it, holey!") Poor little teddy orphan just like voldy and harry what is it with orphans? OMG: Snape thing... i would neva have guessed! i have always been as you call it a snape-hater from the beggining but gees JK stuffed me up! now i LOVE snape!. The whole snape pensive thing... made me cry too (as above i never cry over a book) I like the emotion JK ahs put into the book but she should of gone ALL the way with the emotions and filled it up!. so much to say. but i think i have said enough for now! \ one last thing let us have a minute of silence to remember dobby... a great elf and friend... rest in peace dobby. we will always remember you! may your bravery inspire all house elfs to follow in your footsteps S.P.E.W is always on your side. *cries*
Well thats my two cents of info. |
