I've heard that too. Yes, I consider myself a writer -- just not a published one. And in reply to your question about where we each are in our own work, I'm currently on chapter six of book two in my series. Congratulations for writing as much as you have: Some people find it difficult to continue once they get started.
P.S. Isn't this thread in the wrong place? Shouldn't it be in the "Introductions" forum?
