It's the old chestnut, but... where do his ideas come from? In the broad sense of sources of inspiration, and in the more practical sense of where a story starts - the plot, the setting, or a character.
Oh, and how intensive is his world-building? Is everything down before a word is written, or does the setting organically evolve as the story unfolds? |
