ok i sarted the first book and the first sentence jumped out at me already
portside crew pit?
im guessing thats a pit with crew members in it on the side of the ship, like in the movies where vader stands between port and star on a platform above them
am i right
if i am i have a second question
can i use those words to describe a area similar in my book or is crew pit a taken term by star wars?

also a lot of words in star wars are compund simple words
like "outter rim"
but is that considered star wars term?
cause then i have to make up my own terms without using simple words
