Ok here is the good old spoiler warning....













This hit me today while I'm sick. In Janime's chapter, the one where Tommen yomits at Tywins wake and runs away crying. Well as we know Jaime gets to Tommen and gives him a little advice, page 128 in the Voyager edition, where Jaime said "the world is full of horrors, you can fight themor laugh at them, or look without seeing..... go away inside." Thats nice and all but Tommen says he used to go away inside sometimes when joffy.....

Could Joffery have....
1. beatten his little brother
2. made fun of his little brother
or
3. sexual molasted his little brother

Any thoughts?

I think it definately could have been 1 through 3 on the list . I don't think Joffey would have balked at any of it . As long as it hurt or demeaned another person Joffrey would have like it. In a lot of ways he takes after his mother in that.

I don't personally think that Tomman will get the time to work out his emotional issues. I think he will probably become the next king to die in the series . After all if he died and Mycella dies in Dorne what would that do to the Iron Throne and the 7 kingdoms . Who would be crowned then? Or would the Sparrows just take over everything .

We know that both Tommen and Myrcella will die, and before Cersei does, because of her prophecy. I agree, Tommen won't get a chance to heal, but I'm not sure about the sexual molestation...
Actually, come to think of it, it sounds very much like the kind of power game he would enjoy. Bad, bad Joffrey. Ressurect him so I can kill him again.

actually the prophecy doesnt truly say that they will die it is worded as shrouded, wich could only mean veiled. There is a theory wich says that Myrcella wont die --> she will be shrouded to hide her mutilation.

Even so i personally hope that Tommen doesn't die , i like the little runt, he is not fit to be king and an incestuous bastard, of the first something might be done without it meaning his death, also he is still 8 yrs old, so he might become a good king later on.

I dont care wether Myrcella dies, she IS insipid like Jon says. I hope GRRM pulls somthing out of his hat and allows Tommen to live (and dissapoint all Myrcella fans by having her axed off).

In any case i am certain Dany wont sit the Iron Throne in the End, it would be too obvious for me, especially when GRRM said we would be surprised.

Wait a second. I'd say it's none of the above.

The context for Tommen's reaction is witnessing something difficult, he's not the object of the event. Jaime picks up on this... remember Jaime giving Brienne the same advice? Well, Jaime learned it from being forced to witness torture, murder, and rape under Aerys II. Granted Brienne's case was going to be different, she'd be the object of rape, but I think Jaime and Tommen have both learned how to watch a horrible crime and yet be emotionally detached as psychological protection.
