| S. E. Hinton The Outsiders, That Was Then; This is Now, and so forth. I'm sure most people here have read her works, since every school district I know about shows at least one of those books to their students. Hinton is still one of my favorite authors. Her writing is easy to read, and she made me love her characters. I prefer TWTTIN over The Outsiders, but both are exceptionally good reads. I also enjoyed Tex, which is weird since I'm usually turned off by books done in the 'South' with 'Southern' themes. |
