If you liked this you might want to try his Cycle of the Werewolf. Sort of rounds it out I guess. A book on vampires and another with a werewolf.

I like the way King goes about dealing with both. He makes you see the dark underbelly of the people in the town. Makes you see that maybe there is no totally good or evil being just shades of grey; some of which are darker than others.
