the dasati god is an actual being with a physical body, unlike Nalar who is more of an entity. The shard in Ralan is from Nalar in my opinion (makes more sense to be from a non physical being - also the names are the reverse - too much of a coincidence to ignore)
I'm sure Ralan with have a big part to play......i can even see him been the god killer, killing the Tekrana, then under the council of Nakor taking over the Tekrana's place and starting to put the dasati back to how they were before the mad god won complete power
