I was just like you only months ago. Which is why i become a member here So confused about the different types of fantasy. Which writers were good and which wasnt too good.
Wikipedia then search for fantasy subgenres So you can see the different type of fantasy there are . Then its easy looking after the writers that are good in the different types.
Also there are a huge recommandation thread for fantasy in these forums.
