A New Book

To be on the shelves in 2006 is "Changelings" book 1 of a series co-written by Anne McCaffrey and Elizabeth Ann Scarborough.

Is Ms Scarborough as good an author as Anne? If so, I guess it will have to go on the 'to buy' list...

It would apear to be a follow up to their "Powers that be" trilogy- so if you haven't read those, it might be a little difficult to follow. Also, I did read them, and apart from one or two details, have few memories (contrast that with say "the ship who sang" which I read decades earlier) Still. I do remember having enjoyed them when I read them, and one or two scenes, so they can't have been all that bad.

Yes I read Powers That Be, although I must admit I didn't enjoy them as much as the Pern series. Still, it's worth checking it out, maybe it will be better than the original....
