| Re: Where in the world are you from? I am actually a Vulcan by birth - planning to live long and prosper, if that's logical. (Vulcan, Alberta, Canada). I think I look quite human after the ear surgery although as it says Vulcan on my passport I still get some wise cracks from customs officers. The death grip comes in handy though. |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? Hey, I wanna be from Vulcan... Where did I come from? My mother, originally. It's OK, Ok....you can use that line if you want the next time someone else asks you where you came from. It's good for at least one groan. My mom was in Normal Heights, San Diego, Calif. at the time. When I was a kid we used to drive over this bridge spanning a canyon and she would point to this bare spot in the canyon and say, in a sentimental voice, "that's where you were born!" For a long time I thought I was born on the ground in the canyon. Later, I learned there used to be a hospital there that had been torn down. Now I'm in Hawaii, the Big Island with the volcano on it...for awhile. |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? Haha! Its like the race we had with the petrol station as to who would open first. Hilarious, but rather sad... Mind you, from what I gathered from Marion (Head honcho at the brewers fayre - my boss, basically) the KFC would be the next up, and then some wierd kooky hotel with no restaurant... so more trade for the rest of us. They were very annoyed that Soltice Park wouldn't allow Whitbread (owners of brewers fayre) to build a Travel Inn next door, but apparently that wasn't the style they were going for. Of course, eventually there'll be a school, offices and everything there. It'll be the new heart of Amesbury, but without the dodgy chineses and drunk squaddies. Thats the theory, anyway... |

| If you see a stranger... | Re: Where in the world are you from? Where a person is from, and where a person is can be two totally different things. Born in Germany, raised in Missouri, lived, well, loads of places: Key West, Newmarket in UK, Maryland, Texas, California, and now I am living in Georgia. I guess I'm a restless soul. |
