| Thomas M. Grimes | Re: Where in the world are you from? So voted where I was, which is the US (East Texas), but where I am from is the NE of Scotland. There is a slight temperature difference in the climate, more noticeable this year which has been insanely hot, getting up to 115F on occasion and being consistently over 100F for many many weeks. I have just about grown used to metallic objects in my car burning me when I return to it after a day at work though I still forget on occasion (but get reminded very quickly.) Tom |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? A surprising amount of Scots in the last few post and, although I'm not a native, I'm going to have to add myself to the list. Edinburgh, Scotland. |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? I am from Lewiston, Idaho, USA. A small town that thinks it's a big city. Surrounded on two sides by National Forest and the other two by grass and cows. Though the place does get famous people. Hemingway had a ranch close by, and I had classes with the kid who's family now owns it. I eat at the same restaurant as Harrison Ford (though never at the same time no matter how often I eat there, so I have never met him(very good food though)). |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? *waves* it seemed apt to use this as my first post on the Boards... I'm from 'smalltown England', to quote New Model Army. aka Stoke, which is in the middle of nowhere on the way to everywhere! |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? I had to pick the United Kingdom, which for an Irishman stung a bit - fume. Current in London (Ealing, West London), so ok, UK. Born Dublin, and in the UK for 15yrs or so now. |

| Dramatically tremendous | Re: Where in the world are you from? I think I'm the only regular from Northern Ireland. I'm from about 15 miles from Belfast, at the start of the Antrim coast road, in a very, very, boring town. Even by Irish standards (although, technically, I'm not Irish, it just saves a lot of very boring discussions). @Bowler, how could you? Hide your head in a pint of the black stuff and repeat: once Irish always Irish. Then drink it. |

| Re: Where in the world are you from? I know, I know Springs, but the options on the poll were limited. I like your proscribed punishment, as its friday afternoon and I'm the only boss in today, I'm off to do just that minutes from now! Why else be the boss!! I have been very bad Springs - can I repeat the punishment a numbers of times? |
