I have read soooo many fantasy/sci fi peices from tigana to the darkest road (GG Kay) and patricia mckillips riddlemaster trilogy. All the above pack a pretty hard emotional punch. However, none have been as exciting, poetic and tear jerking as memories of ice. there are soooo many parts that got me weeping and i would go into great detail except for spoilers.

My top tear jerker ever was..........if only she had loved me i could have shone soo bright!
anyone know the character and book I'm talking about here?
