MTR, I'm right with you there; but the more I thought of it as i read that chapter, I was really thinking that it would bring a lot of complications to the story if Jeyne was pregnant, and that would also be a reason why Brynden held the Riverrun for so long and continued to fly the direwolf banner. Or that could have all been defiance and Jeyne is Jeyne. I'm not sure they would have a girl so dedicated to pretending to be Jeyne that she ran away crying when asked about 'her' late husband.. Oh my, this complicates things. But I was kinda thinking that Rickon might take Robb's place, for some reason, as he's already a (sort of) established character. If Jeyne did have a child, the kid wouldn't get to play too much of a role because he'd (I'm assuming here) still be a toddler when the series ends. |
