Re: People of The Worlds Trilogy

Now, I don't want you to take any of this the wrong way, these are just my opinions.

First off, in all the scripts you posted there is a lovely use of cliche action mingled with horrific/sff elements---if this is going to work, you absolutely must pump up the violence and gore. Think Sin City, Grindhouse, Devil's Rejects, Hills Have Eyes, all these are extremely cliche stories but they were great because they made fun of the cliche through the overproduction of lovely darling violence and gore.

Your characters need more flesh. They need substance. They need reason, not just action.

Think of every Steven Segal movie---he wasn't just a military man, he was a family man, a tough guy, a lover, a vindicator of evil. Mix that up with some good old fashioned Evil Dead gore and Rambo violence, and you've got a great flick.

And Vin Diesel is cute and tough, but he is eye-candy. So if you are going to put him in a movie you better have a very strong --- and I mean air tight--- character history or he's just eye candy and then people like me will yawn.

PS: Once again, Hulk Hogan should never be in any movie. EVER. And I've been a hulkamania fan since I was old enough to walk. But his movies suck.
