My apologies for the wait, my friend.

Orion, Shogun is a running joke between Aegon and myself. But seriously, Shogun was the epic, fantastic, semi-historical, grand political struggle that I'd been waiting for all my life... that is until I picked up ASOIAF.

Also, welcome to the forums!

Now let everyone be warned not to cross Aegon. I've heard rumors that he double majored in the Culinary Arts and Cannibalism. If you thought the Freys, Craster, and Biter threw terrible dinner parties we-he-he-he-ell they have nothing on Aegon. So even though I privately think that The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia are the two greatest fantasy series ever, I'd never admit that to his Unworthiness.

If neither Wert nor Raven is actually GRRM, then which one of you is the mask he hides behind? Sometimes I really think he lurks on the fan sites... and other times I think, "Wait a sec, he must have better things to do than lurk. I mean, who doesn't have a life, him or me? Him. Me. Him. Me."

Edit: I forgot to give my overview. <Ahem!> The bad guys are winning. I mean the good guys! Wait, I mean the guys I like. Well, I didn't used to like them because they used to be the bad guys. But now I have a different persective from the constant switching of points of view, so I don't who the good guys are anymore. Actually the guys I like aren't really winning, but at least they're still alive. One of them is no longer winning or losing and the other one is on the run. I always like the good guys. I've written and spoken about the Christology of LOTR and the Judeo-Christian Theology of The Silmarillion. But now I confess that GRRM has me empathizing at deep levels with a lying, incestuous murderer and murdering, duplicitous liar... they're brothers.
