Re: Overview of his Song of Fire and Ice series?

What? Why has no one said the following....

This is the greatest. series. Ever. If you disagree I will literally eat you alive. Seriously, I wont even use ketchup....but maybe a nice horseradish sauce. So dont disagree.....Consider yourself warned.

So go now, buy all the books, call your parents tell them not to call, tell your wife (or husband or partner or pet) to be patient, tell your children not to grow up, and lock yourself into a room with a comfy chair (I recommend taking enough water and snackcakes with you to last a week) and dont come out till youre done. Oh and hopefully you have a bathroom nearby your locked room, but your mileage may vary on that one. Come back in a week and thank me.....seriously....why are you still reading this?

Matt-You can forget anything Amazon tells you about this series. As has been proven with other books, they want a date and the publisher pulls one out of the air and hands it to them. The author most likely doesnt care or doesnt know....and really I dont blame em. You cant really put a timeline on the creative process.

I second the Tad Williams recommendation, only the Memory Sorrow Thorn one....was really into that Otherland series, and dont know Kay....but let me pimp the novel Shogun for a slightly more current depiction of the movement of power on a national scale....

Now I shall wait for Boaz.
