Yes, the open nights are good fun and well worth attending; although, if you're going to come to one, do check the forums, also available via the website at:

Details of the last two open nights (venue and times), in December and March, both changed at the last minute. These changes were
not mentioned on the main website, which continued to give the original arrangements, but were detailed only within the discussion forums. The December meeting was the first I attended. Had I not checked the forum, quite by chance, on the actual day of the meeting, I would have ended up going to the wrong pub at the wrong time.
