Re: One sitting

All the Extended Editions are better than the Theatrical Editions... Extra bits!!!

One sitting would be about 9-10 hours... And you'd need potty breaks!!

Re: One sitting

It is me and my partners plan of action one day when we have nothing else to do, it would have to be the extended versions though.

I think I would probebly have to have some pro plus to keep me awake and muscle rub nearby for the cramps!

Re: One sitting

I did this already last december when RoTK Extended version came out.
Started about 11am & finished about 1am (including an hr break between Two Towers and RoTK for food & stuff)
Great stuff, but I wouldn't make a habit of it!

Re: One sitting

Watching all 3 extended editions over a weekend would be something I'd like to do when I can find a spare weekend! Maybe over the Christmas hols...!

Re: One sitting

The best I've done is three in three days. I'd love to see them in one sitting, but I'd be an emotional wreck by the end of it!

Re: One sitting

Me and a few friends were thinking about it but never ended up doing it, we did watch the special editions and all the special features in one sitting though for each when they came out. That was quite a long day but good

Re: One sitting

I'm actually planning to do a LOTR marathon quite soon with some of the people in my halls (when we have a weekend when we are all here) would take about 12 hours but can be done as it is roughly the same time it takes to watch each one of the Star Wars (something I did very recently!!!!)

Re: One sitting

I did it! Extended and all. And some mates of my want to do it too. I suggested to start at midnight, but that was outruled by the rest somehow.

Re: One sitting

My friends and I are keen to do it once one of us has a nice home theatre set up. As we are all still quite poor, it might be awhile....
