so whats your fav duel in the whole saga mine would be Darth vader v luke in empire strikes back . Then a close 2nd obi win v anakin to be honest i like both but i'll go for the classic one !

hey mate, I think I'd have to go the Luke V Darth in Return, mainly for the darkness and hopelessness evoked, just like the earlier fight in Empire actually. Also, Obi-Wan's fight with Grievous and allies in Sith. Obi dropping down among all those enemies was awesome

Mine has to be Yoda and Anakin Vs Dooku in ep2.

To see Yoda in action was awesome.

It may have been mainly CG but who cares? It was the way he used the force to draw his sabre from his belt.....

I don't know... Darth Maul verses Obi-Wan and QuiGon was very good. I like the battles in the new movies because of the stunts

The whole Darth Maul fight was awesome - really got the pulse pumping.
My only criticism of it was that there was no dialogue between the fighters though. There should have been at least a bit of confrontational banter.

Yeah.. and I've changed my mind... Obi Wan Vs. Vader.. it was very old school, but you can't beat the classics..

Darth Maul vs. QGJ and OWK (didn't wanna look up the spellings). This is the best duel based purely on choreography. I thought the Anakin/Kenobi fight would top it but it ended up drawn out and over done.

Amen dude! They went a little too dramatic on the fight. The CGI was good, but it was too pridictable. That makes you think.. what if Lucas made the first three back then..and the old ones were modern?? Would the duels be the same kick-Ass styles they were then? Or would they be sucky and too drawn out?

The first one was the best...Obi Wan vs. Darth Vader. Why?

1. Shock value, it was the first duel, and aside from the small practice by Luke, it was the first time anyone had seen a light saber duel and the amazing possibilites of that.

2. Obi-wan dies. If you saw this movie on it's first run, do NOT tell me that you saw that coming. I was in the balcony of a 70mm theater, and I doused the entire crowd below me with popcorn.

Luke vs Vader in ROTJ followed by same in TESB...yeah Maul and QGJ & OBK is good but Obi-Wan and Anakin in ROTS is much better (bot at all drawn out but with the most emotion)..I also love anytime Yoda leaves his cane and brings out the lightsaber.
