I have to say, that's a new reason for dissing a publisher -- because they accepted a friend's story.
Different people have different ideas of what constitutes, style, vivid writing vs. purple prose, etc. Badmouthing an editor because he/she doesn't appreciate your particular approach is not the best way to get ahead in the business.
Particularly in this day and age, when anyone can Goggle their own or their organization's name, and any statement made in a public forum can get back to them. |
