*Possible BH spoilers*

I certainly think WJ ascended, if the rest of the Bridgeburners did it's almost certain he was among them. Especially since Hedge said in BH that even the first Bridgeburners who were long dead had ascended.

I think he's an awesome character, but I agree his death was an important part of MOI, and to bring him back would make that scene a lot less emotional.
