| Crusade: Should it come back as a series or mini-series? Well, it's been several years since Crusade was cancelled, and I've often wondered how the show would have turned out if TNT had allowed Straczynski to complete this 5 year story arc. A few years ago, Straczynski has stated that he hasn't giving up hope on Crusade and is considering making some form of continuation. Considering that many years have pass since the first season, I think the best bet for Crusade to return to the small screen would be a mini-series containing seasons 2 thru 5 rolled into one movie with 4 chapters, thus, finally ending the story by tying up all the loose ends. I would definitely like to see the conclusion to this saga and I think the mini-series is best and only way to go. What is everyone elses opinion on this? Should Crusade come back as a tv series or a mini-series? Whitestar |

I agree with the mini series.it has been so long since it was canceled to make it imposible to either start where it left off or to suddenly change part of the cast (because most of them would be unavailable either way). a mini series to finish it off and allow him to start another babylon 5 related series would be the best way to go |

| Re: Crusade: Should it come back as a series or mini-series? I vote mini-series, albeit with extreme reluctance. I, too, prefer a full series, as it allows for more depth in character and milieu, and allows for a wider variety of topics to be addressed. Still, realistically, if it's going to succeed at all, it will probably have to be as a mini-series; I'd hate to have him commit to a series and get chopped off at the knees again; but I'd happily support the series if that's the choice he makes. Either way, I hope we get enough prior notice to build up a potential viewership and at least give it a good chance. Firefly simply didn't get much of that down here and that probably had a lot to do with it not surviving, and damn it, it really deserved to! |
