| Re: where would you live? sorry, I tend to think of belgariad/mallorean because I've read them more than all his other stuff. also, his medieval societies are transferrable; as you've pointed out, Tamul is Drasnia, and he always has a viking society, and a mongol-y one, and a high fantasy medieval one with the archaic speech patterns (showin' off the education?).
