| Van Buskirk Well, I am a 39 year old Sf fan with aspirations to someday be gainfully employed. As it is, I work in the book department of an entertainment store, here in Indiana. Among my favorite books/ stories/ characters/series are Dominick Flandry, the Lensman series (from whence my screen name), Dune (i read my copy to its death in the late 70's/early 80's.), Star Trek, the original series, Battlestar Galactica, the original and Babylon 5. Oddly enough, unlike the majority of people that I meet on line, I am a recent convert to computerdom as I had never used a computer for anything but the occasional game at friends' houses. (Indiana isn't known for its progressive education, in high school or when I was at IU at Bloomington.) So forgive any intentional netiquette violations. |

| Brian G. Turner | Re:Introduce yourself! Hi Van Buskirk, and welcome also to the chronicles-network! Personally, I'm glad to see someone still prize the old Star Trek - and the third season of Babylon 5 I'd rank as the best SF I've ever seen on TV. Sounds like you'll fit in nicely. ![]() As for netiquette - I'm sure you'll do fine here. ![]() |
