| A hello and an introduction. Stumbled across this site rather by accident, but looking through the posts here you certainly seem to have a fun community. Looking forward to interacting . Currently taking a degree in History at the University of Kent following several years of mindless Tom foolery, wild shenanigans and general aimlessness. Big Sci-fi fan, especially Battlestar Galactica both original and reimagined . I’m also a fan of Babylon 5, Stargate, Quatermass, Star Trek and Star Wars. When not watching them I am a big Lord of the Rings fan, to the stage where I collect and paint the Games Workshop figures, and watch Mad Max one and two, the Crow, Black Hawk Down and The Beast far too much. I am a guitarist and drummer, playing the former in a band and playing the latter badly whenever the neighbours are out. I also managed to get to Grade Five Cello. Musically I love my metal from Tool to Fear Factory and Machine Head to Sepultura, then back for some Misfits. But also love The Stone Roses, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Manic Street Preachers. I also have an unashamed admiration for Rory Gallagher, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters. Fan of the author Stephen King especially The Stand and Christine, whilst I also like Dark Horse comics too, especially the Alien/Alien vs Predator series, and 2000AD [Brigand Doom, Rogue Trooper, Maniac 5 and Judge Dredd] whilst still owning a staggering volume of Transformers comics which I still read, and tons of classic cartoons on video that are too fun to let die [Visionaries, Starcom, Mask]. When not indulging any of these interests I paint [fan of Turner, Munch and Rothko] even though I am awful and have dreadful technique, looking out of my telescope at the night sky and wondering if that star that follows me everywhere I look is Cappella or Vega when actually I am staring at dust on my lens and managed to position my scope so its staring at my next-door neighbours eighteen year old daughters bedroom window, with her and her father known locally as Head Crusher Malone staring back at me with a large bat in his hands. I snowboard, although this is proving increasingly difficult down Oxford Street at rush hour, and whilst a fan of my beloved Charlton Athletic Football club I watch Gillingham most weekends for reasons of cost, and because I love pain. I can also be found once a month getting exterminated playing Paintball although secretly I wish I was at Quaser. There we have me! Look forward to hanging out here. |

| Re: A hello and an introduction. Nonsense. I distinctly remember leaving out the bit about the Northumbrian Morris dancers and an unfortunate incident in a bed and breakfast in Truro. I warned them about the spoons, but would they listen? Cheers mate! |

| The Wicked Sword Maiden | Re: A hello and an introduction. Did I hear someone mention vodka and camping? I am very sorry to hear about Caspar. I am sure though, that you have cleared the name of Spook. History is another favourite subject of mine. Wish you well with the work towards your Degree. |
