Okay question about X-men in general but one that I thought of once again tonight when watching The Last Stand ... why are all the mutants that are unable to switch their X-gene off, like Beast, Nightcrawler and Mystique, blue? Is their any special significance or did they just like blue? It does look really really kewl but I often wonder why blue?

Anyone got any thoughts on it?
