Overall, enjoyed it and in terms of presentation, very well done.
But...when characters died there seemed to be no real strength to the deaths. Even when mutants were forcefully made "normal" the movie rushed on without giving us time to really appreciate what had happened.
Also - the boy who was the "cure" - was a shame, as he seemed pretty peripheral and do little, even though he was essentially at the core of the film's plot. Would have thought he would have needed to be directly involved with the final death scene in order to make it happen. |
