He's one of my favorite authors. War of the Flowers was also the first book I read of his, and it got me on to his books. If you like more traditional fantasy, pick up the Memory, Sorrow and Thorn series. If you want a more Sci-fi slant, check out Otherland. He has a new series on the go starting with Shadowmarch, but I haven't read it yet so I can't comment.
War of the Flowers was right up my alley, as I really like the 'fish out of water' type stories. I love it when the protagonist is dragged from this world to another. |
