I read Farseer and Loveships in straight succession and as such found Liveships a bit difficult to get into, especially when I learned Twaney Man returned to the Fitz's story.
I wish I'd waited a few weeks before delving in to Liveships so I could have appreciated it a bit better so I think if I get round to a re-read I'll do these first.
As Rune said you can just read Farseer and Tawney Man back to back and ignore Liveships, but you get a much better appreciation of the story if you read all 9 - and although they appear seperate stories the two threads are very cleverley interwoven
In general read them all, its neccessary
