Night Watch Was My Favourite Vimes Book...just Because Of The Origins Of Most Characters...nobby For Instance...we Get To "see" Him As A Kid,,which Was Quite Funny...and The Fact That Vimes In Advertanly Gives Dibbler The Phrase Cut My Own Throat...and Of Course Thier Is A Young Vetrinari,,,quite The Good Read...to Anyone That Is Interested,,,good Omens Was Quite The Funny Book...its Not Discworld...but It Carries Its Charm///pick It Up For Those Who Enjoy A Good Laugh |

| Re: is the book thud actually a story or just the rules? I've just finished it. It was good, as all Pratchett's books, but that mystical stuff was a bit unclear - did Vimes act by himself or was there really some demon behind his actions... But the whole Koom Valley thing and the story about the painter were really interesting. |

Love Vimes, I think he's easily Tez's best character. I just wish they'd make a proper Hollywood flick about one of the night watch books. | |
