| Re: Broadband? Quick poll I do love my broadband. It batters dial up. It batters aol! Funny thing is though my brother hasn't got round to cancelling the aol dial up yet, so i have both dial up and broadband. spoilt for choice me  |

Although, I wish the question had read, "Dial-up is good enough for my pocketbook". I'd love to have broadband, but I just can't afford it right now. So I guess dial-up has to be good enough for me. Now, I'll go actually read the thread and see if anyone else has admitted to being a dial-up customer. |

I use the net mainly as an info-gathering resource so I'm still on dial-up. I'm also naturally suspicious and the fact that I am incessantly pestered by sales folk to move to Broadband makes me say no just to annoy them  |

I wonder how long it would take to download if I threw it off the back verandah?' I'm abstaining from voting as well, but's dial-up for me, if you hadn't guessed. |

| Re: Broadband? Quick poll I'm now on broadand ADSL and having been a long suffering user of a 56K Dial up modem there's no comparison LOL!!!!..  I agree with many that having a continous connection is great and having a faster link means I can keep up my Post Wars with The Master... |
