| Super Moderator | Re: Broadband? Quick poll Okay. Am I really the only one who still has dial-up? Or am I the only one who is willing to admit it in the poll? Although, I wish the question had read, "Dial-up is good enough for my pocketbook". I'd love to have broadband, but I just can't afford it right now. So I guess dial-up has to be good enough for me. Now, I'll go actually read the thread and see if anyone else has admitted to being a dial-up customer. |

| Re: Broadband? Quick poll It must be a California thing, Littlemiss... I have dialup... but I only complain about it, not even going to brag... one reason why I didn't mark Brian's poll. It's my protest to not having broadband!!!! |

| Re: Broadband? Quick poll I don't download music, I don't download films - in fact don't download much of anything at all. I use the net mainly as an info-gathering resource so I'm still on dial-up. I'm also naturally suspicious and the fact that I am incessantly pestered by sales folk to move to Broadband makes me say no just to annoy them |

| Re: Broadband? Quick poll But how much are you paying for dial up foxbat? I think its outrageous that dial up is still at the £15 mark in this country when you can get broadband for a bit more and its so much better. |

| Keep Moving Forward! | Re: Broadband? Quick poll I'm on dial-up and I love it! It's fantastic! Those long download times are just what you need for a bit of introspective thinking: 'Hmmm. I wonder how long it would take to download if I threw it off the back verandah?' I'm abstaining from voting as well, but's dial-up for me, if you hadn't guessed. |
