Hear, hear, Shaggydog! No director would ever be able to do a good enough job for me! Even animated films make an impression- my first mental image of Aragorn/Strider was from the animated Lord of the Rings. I'd rather not have it animated either- especially not Anime. Sorry to all you Anime fans out there, but a doe-eyed Ned Stark with goofy hair doesn't really fit the bill.

However hypocritical it may be, though, I do like the characters drawn by Amok. I think they're closest to what I imagined most of the characters to be like, especially when compared to the cards of the GoT board game (which I LOVE!).
