What is Prince of Darkness about? And what is Orpheus about?

I've seen and really liked the Iron Giant but am not sure there is any much to DISCUSS about it. Well-realized retro cold war atmosphere, good characters that don't get too soppy, decent ending...what else?

I haven't been taking part in the film club, but if "Quartermass and the Pit" (also known here in the States as "Five Million Years to Earth") is the choice, I'll surely come along for the ride at least for the one month - it's one of my favorite films and has been ever since I first saw it, as second feature playing with "Planet of the Apes".

So prince of darkness is a horror then. I'm obviously not voting for that then!

Should really watch some hammer films, but again its horror which makes me go no.

I've only heard of the iron giant, but I love the story of orpheus, so I'm going for that!

Should really watch some hammer films, but again its horror which makes me go no.

I wouldn't class Quatermass as a horror (although it does have some elements) but it is a damn fine movie
