Re: Help!

For me the Empire series and original Magician were the best works, the Krondor series basically the worst and everything else in between or after good but nothing outstanding.

Magician, in my opinion is the best book he ever wrote, but they are all great so read them all and enjoy!

Re: Help!

I loved magician but have only read the first 2 of the krondor series. The betrayal was quite poor in comparrison to magician but assassins was better

Re: Help!

Must have been a bit of a shock going from Magican to the Krondor books.

Re: Help!

Well I have never read a book by Feist that I didn't like and I have read at least 10 of his. Also the best computer RPG I ever played was Betrayal at Krondor originally published by Dynamix. A very good game that really was ableto capture the mood and atmosphere of his world.

Feist's Magician will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the first fantasy novel I had ever read and really it got me hooked on this wonderful genre!

Re: Help!

Betrayal was acually based on the game and for a lot of the story it shows as it all seems very linear and staged but by the end it gets better again and made me want to read on
