I've never read Martin's stuff, but I'm listening anyway His views on writing and his books are really interesting... great link!

Great interview.

Its nice to hear him say that he tries not to get influenced by others, so when the series is finally finished it will be his true vision, not someone elses.

Cant wait for the book to be released. I know I will travel anywhere in the UK to meet GRRM and get the book signed.

You should really go read A Song of Ice and Fire. It's my favorite fantasy series and many others, too.

I plan to, but you know how it is. Always too many books to read, not enough time I think I'll wait until the series is eventually finished, but we'll see.

He's supposedly going on a book signing tour of the UK sometime after Oct 15th.

And he should be at the sci-fi Interaction Worldcon sometime during 4-8th August.

George will certainly be at WorldCon, and will be at the Brotherhood without Banners party in the Hilton hotel, Glasgow.
