I have to admit that I found Jar Jar to be, oh, a bit obnoxious, for all that he reminded me of a guy I worked with at the time. Seriously. haha, i actually have a wee list of characters who annoyed me:

1)jar jar binks. what the hell. is he saying
2)the toad thing jar jar has to report to in aotc.
3) the flying dealer dude with the huge nose in aotc. (incase you can't tell using barely disguised racial stereotypes annoy me)
4)totally agreeing with fungi - grevious did my head in! what was with the coughing! since when do machines cough like they have a chesty cough???
5) anakin himself (so damn whiney!)
6) and obi wan in the new films (well really its not obi wan its ewan mcgreggor playin obi wan ) even though to give him credit he wasn't TOO bad in rots.

if you read the books chewi has a big part in a lot of the ones he is in. as for the general Greavious he is a cyborg (used to be a alien of some kind) thats why he coughs because his lungs where crushed.

The only thing any wookie does in ROTS is blow up a crawling thingy that keeps on going 50m afterwards. All Chewie does in that film is roar and carry yoda. HE sucks.

Personally I think people look too hard for these things - I would never have made the link until someone brought it up.

Boss Nass from Episode I. I didn't find Jar Jar annoying at all but just about everything about his superior got on my nerves.
