Re: The Burning Stone - The missing fifty pages

Just started reading this again after a few months of not reading. I seem to be really enjoying more this time round, perhaps I wasn't in a good place before.

Anyway I am almost finished The Burning Stone.

Again, if you have any questions, Lacey ask. I would love to banter with you concerning this series. Kate's forum seems to be holding their breath for the last book and I havne't had or seen any prolfic thoughts concerning this series. I'm hoping you have some. I'm sure you will.

Re: The Burning Stone - The missing fifty pages

Roughly halfway through The Burning Stone.I'm enjoying this series but find Liath slightly irritating. My real bug bear is Tallia I really do wish some would slap her.I know she had a miserable childhood with a simpleton of a father and power hungry mother, but her holier and thou attitude really grinds my teeth and to me she comes across more of a spoiled brat.Alain is the real saint for putting up with her.

Tallia is a bug... can't stand her at all. Not even in Book 6. Yes, she does make it that far. I so can't wait until the last book comes out next month.

Yes, like most people here I'm waiting until I get the final book and complete the series before making any substantial comments about the overall themes, characters, plotilne, writing style although I like them very much already.
