Christopher Pike

I've got Alosha from the Library today by this author. I had thought this author only wrote horror and had overlooked his books. But this is a new fantasy series by him and I wondered if anyone else had read any of his books

Re: Christopher Pike

I thought he wrote only horror as well. I used to love the spooksville books.

Re: Christopher Pike

I've read very little of Alosha so far, but it does seem to be a YA book. Does he normally write for YA's?

Re: Christopher Pike

Christopher Pike AKA Kevin McFadden has written over fifty novels the majority of which are in the Horror Genre. Over 20 of these are in a series of books known as the Spooskville series which revolves areound the adventures of a group of kids in a town that is haunted by various apparitions. These books are definitely YA and generelly for the younger end of this age range (early teens).

The current Aloshi trilogy that I've not read is obviously also YA, so I guess this author writes for both YA and more adult audiences (although some of these books also feature older teenage characters).

Does this help answer the question Rune?

Re: Christopher Pike

Am I the only one who still reads books aimed at 'Young Adults'?
A few months ago I read half my goosebumps books again.

And I still watch Cartoons.

Re: Christopher Pike

Most nights, Cartoon Network is the only worthwhile viewing on the boob tube.
