Star Wars: Deathtroopers

It's Star Wars, but with Zombies. It should be fun enough and it'll be nice to read a Star Wars book that doesn't feature the Jedi/Sith.

Re: Book Hauls!

Well, mine cost about $2.00 more than that, but that's because I'm a bit picky about the condition of my books, when I've a choice in the matter....

OH..I didn't even know it had come out yet.

I'll be interested to see how Sanderson handles things style-wise given he was provided with fairly thorough notes about how Jordan imagined the ending to be.

Only 2 more novels to go.....

Re: Book Hauls!

Well, another I ordered some time back just came in: Elric in the Dream Realms, by Michael Moorcock; volume 5 of the Del Rey Elric set, which contains the novel The Fortress of the Pearl, as well as the prose script Moorcock wrote for the graphic novel Elric: The Making of a Sorcerer, as well as various other pieces of interest....

Recently read a previously overlooked oldie

Wasp by Eric Frank Russell

An interesting take on terrorism from 50 years ago. Well worth a look.

Re: Book Hauls!

On the strength of a Warren Ellis comment, I got Cherie Priest's Boneshaker. Also Victoria Cross Heroes by Michael Ashcroft as a non-fiction book to read.
